TRAIL IN HUECO MOUNTAIN ESTATES DEVELOPMENT - 30 MILES EAST OF EL PASO, TX CITY LIMITS - TAKEN AFTER THE ANIMAL SIGHTING. The animal was first seen standing on the right side of the roadway and crossed in front of my headlights at a distance of approximately 30-35 feet. It was not a heavy bodied animal, nor was it quite as thin as a mule deer. The horns appeared at the time to be as straight as those of a unicorn as depicted in most artistic renditions of the mythical animal, but, of course, it had two of them. The subsequent photos will show that there is a slight posterior curve in the horns but only a slight one. It also has a distinct hump over the shoulders.
